Music Lessons / Performance / Guzheng Distribution

MUSIC LESSONS

1. Description:

   • Year round enrollment for private or group lessons. Students must be 7 years old and above.

2. Rates:

   • Private -From $55 / hour 

   • Group of 3 - $30 / hour

3. Objective:

   • Provide an opportunity for students with little or no music background to start learning music theory at a beginner level.

   • Students with a background in music or are able to play other instruments may begin learning basic guzheng techniques.

   • Advancement is dependent on each student. Students may advance up to Level 4 in guzheng examinations after one year of continuous study and practice.

   • Students are encouraged to participate in at least one recital a year; students are also encouraged to participate in the annual examinations.

   • Top students will be recruited for performances each year.

PERFORMANCES

1. Range:

   • Weddings

   • Corporate events, Banquets

   • Festivals (Chinese or western festivals)

   • Press conferences

   • Other performances

2. Payment:

   • Solo：

     • $200 / 15 minutes

     • $250 / half hour

     • $300 / hour

     • $400 / 2 hours

   • Group: To be discussed based on the number of performers.

   • Additional fees for gas and parking will be required if the performance location is further than 30km (approx.. $30 - $50)
